Are you human?

Today morning I was busy filtering the feedbacks with all spam comments entered. Just a few days back I had applied the simple verfication word to my son's guestbook code and it is working great for me so far. No unwanted and spammy comments. You can check out the guestbook. I had tried using image CAPTCHAs( Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart), but it did not work for me. I still used to get lots of unwanted stuff with the favorite comment posted as "Nice Book". That was very irrelevant comment but the sites mentioned were quite relevant pointing to all those adult and casino sites;)

Since it worked for that site, I added the same for KidsandBibs feedback form. The visitor just needs to type the verficiation word specified and if it matches the comments will be saved else it will not be saved. I personally don't like CAPTCHA images as sometimes even if youa re human, you cannot identify the characters properly and it becomes very frustrating for a genuine visitor who wants to post a feedback for you.

I will keep a watch and see how effective this method. I will be posting about this in future. You can goto KidsandBibs feedback form to check out how it has been implemented.

Make money with Articles

Well I have read often that you can make money online by writing articles. Good for someone who is really good with words and one who know how to control the flow of the words and make it an interesting read. With me, it is a lost dream now. I remember how good I was in my writing skills and always used to get good marks for writing composition, essays. The moment teahcer used to give us a subject, the words used to automatically flow and I would use some famous proverbs and quotations and I was always appreciated for my good writing skills and my handwriting. I always used to win calligraphy contests.

Now I have almost forgotten to write and my fingers are more used to the keyboard then the pen and paper. Anyway, after reading so much about articles, I also decided to publish one article and submitted it to ezinearticles.com and it was approved. The article is about "Online Baby Photo Contest". Moms making money

Recently I came across a few sites about making money through blogging. It seems to be a very good idea to blog and also make money. I have not been much into blogging as I don't get TIME. I need to learn time managment. There are so many things I would love to do but I don't have time.

Money making idea or money making online is good. There are so mny ways of doing that. I have been using Adsense since last 3 years but intially for two years I never paid attention to it. I just pasted to the code to a few pages on my site and that's it. And the income was also same.. like 1 $ or 4$ in a month. It has been just 4-5 months that I have noticed that Google Adsense is a good medium to earn money online.

I know some of the rules but not getting enough time to put my ideas in place.But as I said you can earn real good income through Adsense if you have a good website and if you know how to get traffic to your site.

So I will be writing more into "moms making money online". Keep checking my blog.

Baby Model Contest - Sending Photos

Off late, I have noticed that we don't receive the baby details and photo entries though the parents send in the money. It may be possible that your entries are not reaching us. So please make sure that when you send in your photo attchments, each individual photo is not larger than 200KB in size and try to send them in a batch of 2 or 3 rather than attaching all photographs in one email.

Please make sure that you send in your entries to ppc @ kidsandbibs.com (without the spaces) and mark a cc to kidsandbibs @ gmail.com . And if you don't see your babys photo in the contestants section do write to us. Also include your paypal transaction ID in the email and the baby's name in the paypal transaction.

Baby Photo Contest Voting

Hi All,

So here we are again, voting for the cutest baby. These month we have 46 contestants so the competition is more exciting. I am thinking of having age-wise competition but that will take some time for now. We have very sweet and lovely contestants. You can check out the voting result page and see the top 2 babies. The result will keep on changing as per the votes recieved.

All parents can collect the voting buttons to shwo on their blogs, forum signatures etc. so that you can spread the word around and try to get the maximum votes possible.

We all know how Sanjay Malakar was able to escape elimination week after week. It was all becasue of votes. Well he is eliminated finally :) But if you wish to get more and more votes for your babies, the best you can do is ask for it. It is that simple.
