We have added an online photo gallery wherein parents can create their own album. It is a good medium to share your photos. From now onwards, we will be picking up the photo contestants from the photo gallery section. So, all the parents who wish to enter the photo contests, are requested to first register with the online photo gallery and upload their photos. Once you have uploaded your photos, then write to us, which photo you would like to enter in the contest and we will pick up the photos from there.

Accepting entries for Baby Model Contest - May-Jun 2007

We are accepting entries for the baby model contest for May-Jun 2007. The entry fee is only $3 per snap. You can send in as many snaps as you wish. Fill the contest entry form and send it to us alongwith the baby attachment. Payment is to be done from Paypal. Once we recieve your payment, your baby's snap will be uploaded in the baby model contestants list.

The grandsupreme winner becomes our KidsandBibs baby model for the next two month. These are our past baby models.

KidsandBibs reaches 7K mark in compete.com

KidsandBibs.com has reached the 7K mark on compete.com.It is not exactly 7k, but very close.And traffic is growing every day. Our total hit for the month of April 2007 was 461929. You need not do much of the talking but your figures can talk for you. I am sure all your marketing guys will agree,how important facts and figures are!!





It is much easier to let your advertiser check the traffic of your site with the competitor and then decide on whether they wish to advertise on your site or not.

Well I have read often that you can make money online by writing articles. Good for someone who is really good with words and one who know how to control the flow of the words and make it an interesting read. With me, it is a lost dream now. I remember how good I was in my writing skills and always used to get good marks for writing composition, essays. The moment teahcer used to give us a subject, the words used to automatically flow and I would use some famous proverbs and quotations and I was always appreciated for my good writing skills and my handwriting. I always used to win calligraphy contests.

Now I have almost forgotten to write and my fingers are more used to the keyboard then the pen and paper. Free Baby Photo Contest

KidsandBibs is accepting free contest entries for the month of March 2007. Only two days are left to send in your entries. Voting will start on 15th march 2007.

We have been seeing lost of entries from various countries in the last couple of months. Sometimes I am surprised to know the reach of internet and it is always a good feeling to hear from parents from far off places. It is good to know that they find my site interesting and gives them a chance to show off their babies. It is best one in baby photo competition.

Mails sent to parents

Emails sent to all the parents who did enter the free photo contest but the photos were not uploaded.

Some parents are so quick. Just after getting the emails, there entry was there up again. I wonder if these entries were done from home or office ;)

Anyway it is good to parents are so keen to enter photo contests and show off their babies. I used to do the same with Urjit. But these days I just don't have time. I need to update his website as well. It has not been done in ages. There are so many photos of Urjit to be uploaded.

Free Photo Contest

All the contest entries received till 17th of July are posted on the site. There are about 150 entries in all but it seems the upload page was having some problem and parents were not able to upload the photos of their babies.

Modelling Contest - May-June 2006

Finally I was able to update my home page with the new photos of our baby model - Megan Jane who has has been judged as our Grandsupreme winner. She will be on the top banner of our home page for a period of two months ie July and August 2006. Megan looks so beautiful and sweet.. I am sure she has a very very bright future.

I also liked the other winners Elicia and Aaron. Aaron was judged by our panel of judges (parents) whom we selected in a draw from the parents of our free photo contestants. For them it was tough to decide between Megan, Elicia and Aaron but at the end, the final decision went for Aaron and he was judged the Parent's choice.

KidsandBibs - fun filled contests

After 22 months of starting the site, I still feel the love and passion for this site and it seems everyday is just a new beginning and there are still lots of things to be done on my site.

It is very very tough sometimes to keep things up to date but still I am trying my best and the hard work is paying off. I have started earning from google Adsense as well... not a very big amount though.. but just a few hundred dollars.. but I believe some extra money is always welcome when you have so much extra expenses to keep the site up to date.

I still feel that free contests are still more popular compared to the paid ones as parents are still hesitant to pay money online that too just for a contest. And again there are some parents who are really very keen about paid contests and you will find their kids being entered in each and every paid contests on the net you come across.
